Ainur Nygmet - Innovator in Design, Technology, and Healthcare Solutions

My name is Ai-nur Nygmet which translates as a “Moon - Light Gift” from Kazakh

I’m a mechanical engineer specializing in scaling high-throughput laboratories, integrating advanced automation technologies, and optimizing workflows to drive innovation in biotech and pharma. With a background that bridges engineering, automation, and design, I’m passionate about creating solutions that accelerate scientific breakthroughs and improve healthcare outcomes.Through my startup, I combine precision technology with scientist-centric design, transforming regulatory processes for laboratory-developed tests (LDTs).

My journey spans automation engineering, entrepreneurship, and a deep commitment to environmental preservation—especially protecting the Caspian Sea’s endangered biodiversity—and supporting underrepresented communities in STEM. Whether longboarding, writing poetry, or creating visual art, I see creativity as the spark for meaningful change. I aspire to join Stanford’s MS in Design, uniting technology, innovation, and empathy to deliver transformative global impact.
